Active Living is for Life!

Parks and Recreation offers residents and visitors a selection of community, sports, cultural, heritage and age based centres.

The goal of each centre is to offer excellence in program and customer service delivery that promotes social, mental, educational, skill, health and leisure development.

Our Active Living Guide and Online Registration website outlines our programs, lessons and drop-in services by age group and activity. Each site or service may offer additional information through brochures or on their webpage within this website.

Centennial Community Centre Fitness, music, dance, judo, cooking, rentals and a variety of age based programs
Century House Older adult programs, outtrips, socials, education, music, arts, fitness, counselling programs and services
Moody Park Arena Skating, hockey, rentals and dry floor programs
Museum & Archives Exhibits, school and public programs, 1865 Irving House, Samson V Maritime Museum, Archives and artifact preservation and education
