Queensborough Community Centre Expansion Update

The Centre is being expanded to offer you a wider variety of valuable community services. Expansion updates, plans and information is available on our Projects on the Go page.

The Heart of the Community!

Queensborough Community Centre is a place for everyone and we celebrate and promote our neighbourhood diversity! Our Centre will soon be expanded, in 2012, to keep pace with our vibrant and growing Queensborough neighbourhood. As the community hub, the Centre is focused on enriching your life through our programs, services, partnerships and community events.

Fitness

Cardio, strength training, free weights, yoga, aerobics...we have it all at very reasonable drop-in, membership and registered program rates. We also have a personal trainer (Mondays, 5:00 - 7:00 pm & Thursdays, 10:00 am - 12:30 pm) who helps you meet your individual fitness goals. Call us for bookings or click here and view our options in the adult section of the Active Living Guide or see our fitness, weight room and sports drop-in schedules.

Programs

We offer a wide range of drop-in and registered programs for toddlers to seniors. You can see our wide range of services, by age, in the Active Living Guide.

Rentals

The Centre accommodates a wide range of rental needs from meetings to weddings. Call us to review your needs and dates or click here for more Parks, Culture and Recreation rental information. Note: we also book the Ryall Park, Old Schoolhouse Park and Port Royal Park picnic shelters. Click here to see videos and images of the Centre through a virtual tour.

Special Programs Committee

Queensborough Community Centre partners with and supports this community volunteer committee that coordinates community events such as a monthly Family Fusion Dinner, Queensborough Day and the popular Urban Farmers Fall Fair.

The Queensborough Special Programs Committee also strives to preserve local history as seen through collages, family plaques and murals in the Centre. The dedicated QSPC volunteers make Queensborough a better place to live.
