Queen's Park Arena is a home for ice hockey, lacrosse, minor sports associations, tournaments and special events.

The arena has 3,500 seats, concession services, WiFi, TV, sports and historical displays. 

  • Ice Rentals

    Looking to rent some ice?
    Queen's Park Arena is known for its quality ice and affordable rates. The best way to book ice is to us, 604.777.5111.


    Our ice rates are $248 for prime time and $124 for non-prime time and summer bookings.

    Prime time is 6:00 - 11:59 pm on weekdays and 6:00 am - 11:59 pm on weekends. All other times are considered non-prime time.

     

  • Skating Services

    Lessons and Public Skates

    Are you looking for skating lessons or a drop-in skating schedule?

    These services are offered through Moody Park Arena.

  • Gather your friends and enjoy some pickup hockey that will sharpen your skills and improve your fitness.

    • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday,
      11:30 am - 1:00 pm

    This session, limited to 20 players and two goalies, is not staffed and players will organize their own games.

    Only $4.00 or $31.92 for a 10-session pass. Goalies are FREE. Sorry no skate shop services available.

  • Queen's Park Arena is famous for its lacrosse teams, Mann Cups and unique wooden floor.

    Every summer the arena is converted into a premium lacrosse facility for New Westminster's excellent Minor, Junior and Senior lacrosse teams.

  • Several Queen's Park rental options are managed by Arena staff and include: meeting rooms, a banquet and wedding hall, rose garden and gazebo and picnic shelters.

  • The Royal City Skating Club

    Public Adult Skating

    Queen's Park Arena is the home for the Royal City Skating Club who offers public adult skates with an emphasis on recreation and socialization.

    The Club is open to the public and you are encouraged to come out for a skate and to meet new friends.
