Officially named on December 12, 2011 by a community recommendation to Council, this new park features a trellis covered entry with tables; a wide central walkway with seating and a covered picnic shelter with tables, a children's water play channel and play areas with equipment for toddlers and school age children.
The park also includes a variety of sport opportunities, including a natural grass sports field, a tennis court and basketball half-court and outdoor fitness circuit on a looped trail.
Natural features such as boulders, mounds, cedar log elements and
sand provide for imaginative play opportunities.
