Moody Park is a multidimensional park that accommodates sports (i.e. soccer, baseball, softball, tennis, basketball & lacrosse boxes) and popular leisure activities through our outdoor pool, playground and spray park.

Other park amenities include public washrooms, trails, benches, picnic tables, waste receptacles, a plaza and open green space with mature trees and beautiful flower beds.  

Finally Moody Park is home to New Westminster's Youth Centre, Century House, Parks, Culture and Recreation Administration Office and the New Westminster Lawn Bowling Club. 

Moody Park is a great sports and leisure destination.

Sports Field Bookings

Please note that sports fields must be booked by calling Parks, Culture and Recreation. Moody Park can accommodate soccer, baseball, softball and is a popular tournament destination.

Moody Park Outdoor Pool

Moody Park is home to Metro Vancouver's newest state of the art outdoor pool featuring three full 25m swimming lanes, two 20m lanes and a dive tank with a 1m springboard.

Lawn Bowling

The New Westminster Lawn Bowling Club offers a superior pitch and a vibrant club that hosts league and tournament play.

Washrooms

New washrooms were constructed beside the playground and offer year-round service from 8:00 am to dusk.

Spray Park & Playground

This coastal rain forest theme spray park operates on 15-minute cycles to help conserve water when not in use. It is generally open from Victoria Day to Labour Day and you can check the schedule in our summer Active Living Guide or by calling 604.777.5121.

The spray park is located next to the playground, washroom and picnic tables to offer parents a wonderful outing with their children. 

Tennis

Three tennis courts provide players with all day drop-in opportunities. Please restrict playing time to 30-minutes if other players are waiting.
